See the Kelts, humble and true,
came from the Alps to the Western Sea of blue.
Their magic was the breeze
gently blowing through the trees.
But, Love and Strife were still constants in Life
just like the stars that shine at night.
Though their king was kindhearted man,
the blood of war stained the land.
Freeing them from the rule of Rome,
their great king made Armorica his home.
But when peace finally came to stay,
the King was old and gray.
And though his young lovely wife
gave him two sons full of life,
The King died before they could rule,
so their fates became twisted and cruel.
Death raced out on the swiftest horse,
without fear of any recourse.
Forced to sacrifice the life of one,
they saved the oldest son.
Though loved by most,
Uther felt shunned by his father’s ghost.
And though at times kind & strong,
his wrongs were twice as long.
So when he sought to avenge his brother,
the elders gave his crown to another.
Young Ban, valiant and true,
being chosen, flatly refused.
But compromising with the clans,
Ban agreed to rule some of the lands.
And so it would come to pass,
Uther would have his revenge, at last.
But, the peace from Vortigern’s defeat
was soon slain like meek sheep.
To satisfy his own lust,
Uther destroyed his nobles’trust.
By ways of trickery and deceit,
married Ygerne had a son she couldn’t keep.
Though bound for greater things to come,
he was born from evil that had been done.
And never would the boy return,
for his father’s castle was smashed and burned.
Soon, Uther met his fate,
throwing Britain into a chaotic state.
All the while, Armorica grew and thrived,
united by Ban’s guide.
For a time, peace united the clans,
fighting only once in foreign lands.
Ensuring freedom for years to come,
the great knights turned back Attila the Hun.
And so time would come to pass,
but still the peace would not last.
And when Arthur came to be known,
honoring the boy, Ban stood alone.
As great factions were built,
old friendships starved and wilt.
And when worlds clash in dark times,
it’s just amatter of pride.
Though ruling parts of the Isle,
some feared that it would be them in a while.
As lies about Ban were said,
the great king ended up dead.
And from their seeds of deceit,
only chaos was ready to reap.
With the kingdom in the hands of Hell,
the next king was slain, as well.
And with little law and pre-arranged love,
only Arthur ruled with the Grace from Above.
