Tintagel and the Western Shores of Britain

Tintagel Ruins in Cornwall stand guard on the fringe of Britain. Too bad more of the castle doesn't remain.

 

 

 

 

Staring out across the royal-blue sea, it becomes easier to imagine that this was the legendary birthplace of King Arthur as proclaimed by Geoffrey of Monmouth.

Continuing, the journey heads north into Wales and stops at Chepstow Castle.
