Watchtower of Wales

 

Moving deeper into Wales, one may find this tower stationed west of the town of Hay. The tower is positioned just north of a nearby station.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Though not directly tied into any Arthurian legends, it reinforces the martial presence in the area. The tower had come into existence several hundred years ago.

 

 

 

 

 

Turning east, the tour of the lower section of Britain heads to the center of the island.
